In Macon, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Georgia on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 10:30 am–8 pm. Macon is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Macon is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

What has happened to this place? I have ate at almost every Ole Time Country Buffets from the Valdosta Mama Junes to the one on Gray Hwy, quality varies from barely acceptable to one of the best meals I've ever had. My son and I began eating here soon after they opened and it became a biweekly visit till he became too ill to leave home or the hospital. After his loss I found it difficult to return for the pain of being there without him. After a year and a half I was ready to return for a fond memory and good food. In the time interval much has changed, none of it good. Once it was long waits, friendly crowdes, attentive staff, and clean environment. The first thing I noticed was no line, followed by limited staff and food that was less than appealing as it had been sitting for some time. First plate left me questioning my choice, not the down home southern cooking I was accustom. Instead it was more like out of the can and warmed, bland every choice, and choice based on appearance and previous experience. To get my drink after getting my plate and waiting a reasonable time and no one in sight, I thought I must be able to get my own, when I went to do so filled my glass with ice,

This is just an average buffet. Nothing really special. They did keep the items on the buffet replenished but what the had to offer was just mediocre. I tried the fried chicken liver which most buffets don't have and they were good. I also tried what I think was a bar b qued pork loin, (I wasn't sure because Nothing was labeled) and the only flavor it had was the sauce. The lime beans was the best side item. They were flavorful. Mac and cheese, creme corn were average. The mashed potatoes and gravy were bland. The banana pudding was okay but the best desert item was the cookies. They were soft and tasty. We were told by another customer that another location nearby was much better. We might try that one if we are ever back in the area. Don't expect a Golden Corral buffet here. The price was relatively comparable to other buffets.

Food was hard as a rock i really wanted salmon but couldn't bite into it the ribs were hard and no meat hardly on the bones and the rolls were hard as well the vegetables were okay but this was my first time coming here and I see why people say dont go and eat there I mean $15.99 for hard food and I didnt even get through a whole place. I will not be coming back here to waste my money.

Went with family on Easter the line was out the door although we didn’t stand for no longer than 30 mins We seated ourselves barely any clean tables available There was only 2 waiters available to serve the whole restaurant People were everywhere smh food selection was horrible Everytime a pan of food was put out it were gone less than 2 mins later EVERYTHING was salty or unseasoned & dry like it were overcooked The staff was so frustrated and mad they had to work so hard but if your a cook there is no reason food should run out and people have to wait 15 mins for new food to come out Absolutely would not go again or recommend unless u want high blood pressure and high sugar upon leaving JUST TERRIBLE!!

If you're looking for the best Southern Soul Food buffet in da middle Georgia area. Look no further. This is it! ALL of your vegetables. They even have rutabagas. Fried or boiled okra. Maccaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and a few other starches. Their fried chikn is better than some of your fried chikn restaurants. They offer several meats. Fried chikn, baked chikn, catfish, ribs, pork chops, neck bones,, pig feet, cubed steak and gravy. And several other meats. They even have chitterlings on Wednesday. Different days give you other meats that aren't available daily. They have a fully loaded salad bar. The only thing I don't like about the salad bar is you have to dice your own onions and tomatoes. The person that is in charge of the cleanliness of the salad bar affectionately known as "Bar Patrol" is Always on his job. You'd better not drop anything on his bar. There are rolls, biscuits and corn bread. My dad has to have his bread! The dessert bar is not da best. It's enticing though. Various puddings, cobbler and ice cream. In my Forrest Gump voice: Dats all I have to say about dat. Now, the restaurant is very clean throughout. As is with most buffet style restaurants wipe you
